WHAT IS GNOSIS?

T he storyteller stop. He looks around, thinking about it, his smile wanes, his eyes fill with tears. He grudgingly clenches his fists, he sighs, he falters.

"I met the Divine Presence and I saw His Face; here I am asked to show Him as evidence for the truth of mere words. The greatest thing for me is that He is not me. For as a through a mirror, then, in Him I see all things including myself - tranformed, into what I cannot become - alone or by any power in my entire being. In Him I know Myself as I am, and as He sees Me."

Answer our question, Sage, what is the Knowing that the Knower has and which is hidden from the face of the world.

"When I call upon Him, I know His Name. When I look for Him, I recognize His Face. His Providence ensures, that I hear His footsteps advancing when He comes, and the same declining when He passes."
